Beginner-Level Course – Mixed (Men and Women) (Ages 18+)

We look forward to seeing you for a game of beach volleyball in the heart of Milan, on the outdoor court at PlayMore!

The course consists of a series of 8 weekly sessions, each lasting 90 minutes, in a class of no more than 10 people, led by a qualified instructor.

The lessons are designed to improve basic playing techniques, develop tactical skills and game management, and have fun as a group playing barefoot on the sand!

The class takes place outdoors at the Sports Center at 26 Via Moscova.

The course takes place regardless of weather conditions, even in the rain. Only in rare cases of extremely adverse weather will sessions be rescheduled at the end of the course.

Course start date: Monday, September 7.

Course end date: Monday, October 26.

Class dates: September 7, 14, 21, 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26

Any classes postponed due to inclement weather may be made up by November 30. If we are unable to make up certain postponed classes, a refund will be issued at the end of the course.

Finally, please note that if you miss any classes for personal or other reasons, you will not be able to make them up on other days or at other times.

To participate, you must have a medical certificate for non-competitive sports. Anyone without a medical certificate will not be admitted to class.

HOW DO I ASSESS MY OWN LEVEL?

BEGINNER: A beginner player has never played before or has only a basic grasp of the fundamentals; plays at a low intensity; does not use the three-touch rule to structure the play; and hits the ball from below.

INTERMEDIATE: The intermediate player already has some playing experience, even if they have played indoor volleyball but never beach volleyball. They have good control of the fundamentals and play with high intensity; they aim to use the three touches to structure the play, are beginning to develop a sense of the game and the court, prefer to serve from above, and try to finish the play with a spike.

We recommend that you carefully consider your availability in terms of days and times, and assess yourself objectively, because if the courses sell out, it will no longer be possible to change the day and/or level.
